Cover-ups are required where food is served, in the lobby and certain other public areas. Pretty much anything goes for your dress at the night club. Each night there is a theme party and very sexy dress. You can be as revealing as you feel comfortable.
All beaches in Mexico are considered public, therefore the beach can't be blocked from people walking by. There is also another Adults-Only resort close to Desire, so you may see couples occasionally walking down the beach. Once they see what fun you are having, we are sure their next vacation will be at Desire. Outsiders are not allowed in the resort or at the Desire clothing-optional pool area.
Desire is a clothing-optional resort for couples only. Desire is a resort and not a "club" as many of you know, and does not sell day passes for anyone with money to walk through and look at guests sunbathing naked. This is for the privacy of the registered guests. For couples that want to visit with registered guests, the registered guest can go to the front desk and buy a "Friends Pass" for $150 per couple for twelve hours. Only a REGISTERED GUEST can purchase these passes.

Although the restaurants that serve breakfast and lunch are casual and comfortable venues, men are required to wear shorts and women are required to wear a cover-up over their swimsuits. Likewise, shoes must be worn, and no wet clothes are allowed in any of the restaurants at Desire Resort Riviera Maya. At night, elegant resort dress is expected when dining at Sahló and Suki, including slacks, shirts and shoes for men, dresses or pantsuits for women.
Desire Resort does not include airport transfers in the cost of the room. Many couples have other arrangements, rental cars and limos that bring them to the resort. However, please watch for promotional deals whereas the cost of your transfers can be free if offered... and selected.
Smoking is only allowed in all the open areas of Desire. Y Night Club offers a terrace where smoking is allowed.
Computers with high-speed Internet service are available at additional charge, in the computer room in the Lobby area. Wireless service is available in selected areas of the property with no additional charge.

Yes... you can be naked anywhere at the resort with the exception of the food areas and lobby. Couples will generally follow "the norm" and be naked during the day at the pool, beach and rooftop Jacuzzi lounge, and dressed very sexy and to theme at night. You can walk around naked at night, but it is not the "norm."
No, all forms of sex are prohibited at the pool, beach and public areas of the hotel.

Your tips are included in the price of your room. It would be impossible for you to tip all of the employees that will come in contact with you. However, there will be several employees that will go over and above to make your experience a wonderful one. Feel free to tip these people separately. We suggest you bring some 5's or 10's for these special people.
There is no need for you to bring Mexican Pesos. The Mexicans love US Dollars! However you will not need cash at the resort... everything is included except upgraded dinners, spa and the gift shops. Everything you buy additional will be charged to your incidentals credit card.
